2025 is on the Defense!

VOLS defense 2025 averages giving up over 31 points per game.

It doesn’t matter what the Offense scored - it’s all about what the Defense GAVE UP!

Syracuse - 26
ETSU - 17
Georgia - 44
UAB - 24
MS State - 34
Arkansas - 31
Alabama - 37
Kentucky - 34
Oklahoma - 33

You can’t have ANY turnovers (and we’ve had a few) when you give up that many points!

It’s a sad fact - but our defense SUCKS this year……

There is NO fixing it!

It is what it is. — And even if we had made the CFP we would have gotten blown out worse than we did last year against Ohio State.

Not every point given up during the season is on the defense. I only looked at these two games:

AL: a safety and pick-six are not on the defense

OU: fumble return for a TD, 2 field goals after INTs (OU gained only 32 yds on 10 plays after the INTs)
