He's not coaching at all right now. Now he may want to stay in the NFL but it would be worth a phone call

How do you know he’d kill it on the recruiting trail? How much experience does he have calling a defense? He wasn’t DC in NE before getting the HC job. If he didn’t play here he wouldn’t be mentioned.

I agree with that, but I think he could bring more discipline/grit which I think has been lacking from the program. I doubt we move on from the DC though

If we are gonna start throwing out former Vols then may as well just recommend promoting Marlon Hobby who is on campus and has DC experience at the college level. Im not saying we should do that, but if we are just gonna throw out UT players then let’s go wild.

I dont know about that. I know that he was picked by Kraft to be the head coach because of how respected he was. He inherited an awful roster and he had his growing pains. When he chose to not lose the last game of the year, he was fired and the Patriots hired one of the most sought after coaches in the sport.

The defense actually played well enough to win the game. The oline can’t run block, special teams has taken a step back, and it’s time for a new strength coach.

I'd rather go with Stephen Belichik at DC if we are just making up fantasy hires. Atleast he has college recruiting experience.
