Except UF is kind of loaded at wr but who knows if van leaves adding him would be nice addition to cope on the bench lol jk

I’m sure there’s connections thru staff

Mississippi junior colleges have 6 teams in the national jr college top 25 football rankings this currently. It might be a good idea for CJP and staff to look at some of the OL, DL, and LB at those 6 programs to get some experienced beef in the trenches for next season. East MS, NW MS, MS Gulf Coast, Jones County, and Copiah-Lincoln programs play some really good bone-jarring football. Also, East MS is # 1 jr college program in the country right now. So, getting some recruits from these programs would not be a bad idea, especially on the lines and at LB.

In the portal. Wonder if he would be someone we turn to. Would only be a one year rental but maybe worth a look considering his experience and productivity.

Heath made his debut in maroon and white in 2020 after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound athlete had an impressive first season for the Bulldogs and was certainly able to compete with the best of the best in the SEC despite being new to the conference. Heath finished his 2020 campaign with 37 receptions for 307 yards and three touchdowns-- stats that put him among the best of the team's wide receivers.

In the offseason, Heath worked hard and improved tremendously. He became an even more important part of Mike Leach's Air Raid offense in 2021 and made big plays that helped his team to a 7-6 record. In 11 games played, Heath totaled 442 yards on 34 receptions with five touchdowns. He was third on the team in touchdown receptions--behind only Makai Polk and Jaden Walley-- and fifth in total yards.
