KNOXVILLE – The preseason honors continue to roll in for junior offensive lineman Antonio Richardson who was named to Sports Illustrated’s 2013 Preseason All-America Second Team Thursday.
Richardson is one of 16 SEC players to earn the honor.
Earlier this season Richardson earned both Athlon Sports and Phil Steele Preseason Second Team All-America honors.
The Nashville, Tenn. native, was also named to the Preseason Media Days All-SEC Second Team as well as the Lombardi and Outland Trophy Watch Lists recently and has also been tabbed on Lindy’s Preseason First Team All-SEC, and Athlon Sports and Phil Steele’s Preseason All-SEC Second Team.
Last season, Richardson was a part of the Vols offensive line that helped pave the way for an offense that averaged 477.6 yards per game and allowed just seven sacks, the second fewest in the NCAA in 2012.
