Barnhart definitely panicked and hired a guy he knew would 100% say yes.

I actually think it’s a pretty solid hire. Been a coach for a while, has had some moderate success, runs a fun offense. Barnhart can sell the UK connection to smooth things over while fans are talking themselves into it. If he sucks, they’ll fire him in 3 years and take another run at Drew after his kids are out of high school.

I do wonder if Pearl is watching for Barnes retirement and would want to return? Is that a reason he did not get a look from UK or would it be the BBQ and antics?

I love the idea of Bruce returning to Knoxville. I cannot think of 1 good reason he should not be our next coach when Barnes retires. I'm sure some donors' egos would prevent that from happening. There's not but so many coaches any school could hire that would be a better hire than Bruce and I'm certain that we won't hire someone better.

They do in middle/southern middle TN. Not easy to find. They are hands down the best diet drink I’ve ever had. They don’t have that diet aftertaste. I know diet drinks aren’t healthy, but when you struggle to keep your weight under control they are better than regular soft drinks.
