Maybe so. I'm about done with worrying about it. It'll work itself out and we'll have to play a good team at some point. Still don't think any of that qualifies as life support, but to each their own.

Iowa State or Purdue probably. If we can't beat them and the lesser teams we were never going to beat Duke anyways. My expectations were final four this year. Maybe my expectations were a little too high, but we sure started off good out of conference.

Gonna be Duke. And if we make it far enough to face Duke, it will be Purdue/Edey the sequel. I can just feel it coming.

And that's the difference. Just like football, there's a stinker or 2 that costs UT a shot at breaking new ground. We just never seem able to step through the door of opportunity. Guess it's the way you separate the wheat from the chaff.

Flagg had 3 fouls in the 1st half yesterday against a terrible UNC team. He is nowhere near getting an Edey whistle and the fact they play entirely different positions.

If we end up in Dukes bracket, Jay Bilas will start the “Tennessee is mean and dirty!!!” media campaign again the day the bracket is announced to make sure Duke gets the whistle should the time come.

That seems high in terms of expectations. Goals or hopes? Yeah and that’s still in play. Expecting a FF seems like a great way to be disappointed imo.

Yep making it to the sweet 16 should be the expectation. Anything after is gravy. Way too many goofy things happen in the tourney every year.

For sure. He will probably say that about every SEC team this year. SEC teams are too physical and should not be allowed to continue to do so in the tourney.

ESPN should never have let Bilas out of his cellar. Coming up with his own formula for rankings is fine for people interested in sports betting, but his personality matches that of someone who makes spreadsheets to invent alternative rankings. I’d rather listen to a skipping cd of Dick Vitale’s greatest calls than hear Mr. Asperger’s mumble into the mic.
