Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Of course, but the ACC has shown us all if your league drops the reality is you will too. People want to be at TN in part because we play the best.
How well did that theory work in football before CJH showed up? I watched the SEC run College Football for 15 years and we were Mediocre most of the time while Alabama, Florida and LSU won the Championship. Those schools got all the recruits because they were winners. Not because they were in the SEC.

Lol you have to do your part. Hiring bad coaches had a lot more to do with that than being in a good conference. Our conference didn't get worse we just made a competent hire.

Kelly Harper made 2 Sweet 16’s just 2 years ago.

It’s awesome that KC has done so well this year with what she had to recruit. But to be fair, the expectation is more eventually.

You aren’t wrong, but you also have to factor in that KH in her Sweet 16 runs never beat a major conference team. Mid majors both times. KC beat a major conference team on its home floor tonight with what may realistically be one of her least talented rosters at Tennessee.

Fair enough, I'm more concerned with Tennessee winning, than Conference Pride.

Something needs to be done about rules not being enforced. That was a walk.
It was, but it is the least enforced violation in the history of basketball and it was a buzzer beater. It definately sucks for Colorado State, but imagine the outrage if they take away that bucket. It's a tough balance.
