Agreed. That is ridiculous when reseller tickets are much less than standard admission. Danny White is getting a little greedy.
AD White is a business man as much as an Athletic Director, strike while the iron is hot. Get all that juice out of the squeeze while you can, I love it...

Except when the “standard admission” tickets for a midweek game remain unsold since they are priced at a premium compared to reseller tix on the same platform (Ticketmaster). Dynamic pricing can squeeze until there’s no juice left to squeeze.

Someone will cough up the money, AD White knows this.....

That's the cost of being the best in the Country..
Coincidentally, I just came across a couple of things from the 2019 season.

First, you could buy six tickets to be used at any SEC game (use them all for one game, or go to six different SEC games). The cost was $20, plus $3 in fees.

Second, they started having to charge for the baseball lunches. To try to drum up interest in the baseball program, they would have a talk emceed by John Wilkerson before a few home SEC series. The head coach (CDS then CTV) always talked and some guest would also talk (it could be guys currently on the team or other interesting people).

The lunches used to be absolutely free, but then word started spreading among the faculty (I’m looking at people like you @Volprofch05 😜) that they could come for a free lunch, so they started charging five dollars, plus a one dollar fee. But when you got to the lunch, they would give you a $5 voucher to be used at the concession stand that weekend. A huge turnout would be about 35 people.

In the past I also found a couple of old emails from the CDS led program (but I don’t recall the year) encouraging me to renew my season tickets. I think one year for early renewal you got an autographed baseball. Another year I think you might’ve gotten a jersey.

Other than the prices and the baseball lunches, there’s not much I miss about that era in the program.

Yes thank you @taylorvol if you want to continue to grow college baseball this cannot be the price. Get kids into the games and this price is absurd.
