Recruiting Football Talk VIII

UT AD and the NCAA when it comes to laying the smack down on Beldar Cornbread:

Let's not get crazy now!

I love seeing other teams get mistreated by the umps instead of us, but the stick up that umps backside is big enough to offset all the lumber imports from Canada and then some. Somebody let Trump know that I've found a new source of lumber for him that can be tariff free.

What an absolutely crazy fall from being a millionaire coach to PE teacher in HS. Nothing wrong at all with humility either, but it's such a wild arc. To then decide to sue over the fall takes a certain level of something too.

Fulmer is an idiot.

This is why you don't hire a gump. Pruitt tanked us and it was a miracle we made out as light as we did because the NCAA is neutered now.

And now Pruitt is trying to tank us further, implicating Fulmer and the athletic department for systemically violating NCAA rules.

But of course he won't say anything to hurt UGA, Bama, or FSU and all the payments he facilitated while he was there.

I think a catcher has to be inside the box when the pitcher releases the ball. Such as when there is an intentional walk.
I played baseball for a long time, but I had to ask Google, having never seen it called myself
I saw a team lose on a "catcher balk", but had no idea what the catcher actually did.

I have seen interference called on a catcher, but it the term "balk" wasn't used. This video explains it pretty well.
I have seen all of these scenarios, I just never heard them called a balk.
Interesting.
