A lot of members of Knoxville media are expert at conveniently laying blame in a given situation on the coach no longer in town.

I’ve seen it countless times.

The last 2-3 days have been great IMO

I'm totally fine with the departures
New pitching coach
Elander is now making this his team
The returning starters are very good, I was down on Levi, don't know what happened first half of season, but he figured it out
Thrilled with Haas and Estes coming back and Abe had very good outings in middle relief
Portal news is promising
Great FR class coming in

I am apparently not as up to date as I thought I was on TN baseball. I kept waiting to hear about the big tall kid from Kansas, Siebert, and whether he was getting better from his injury couple years ago and thought he would be a stud for us and he isn't even on the team anymore. I am seriously ashamed of myself.

As prepared and detailed as Elander is, I’m sure he’s had a list prepared for quite a while. I think we are in really good hands with Coach E but he must excel at “recruiting” the portal
