What offensive scheme do you suggest?
Power I? Have watched our line push people around? And that stud fullback that is just waiting to trot out there.
The pro-style? Have you watched our QB?
The read-option doesn't give up sacks and gives a bad qb another second to make his reads.
Pick your poison.
I'd rather see us struggle with a freshman than with a QB who simply isn't an SEC caliber player. At least they are the future and we can get some glimpses of it, and it would show me that the staff isn't so scared.Worley aint doing bad, he's not doing that good but he hasn't turned it over yet. that's an improvement. I'd still like to see what one of the freshmen could do though.
I think our DC is doing pretty well given our talent. Can't say the same about our OC. I think he is mediocre. We should be taking advantage of Croom and North over the middle of the field, where their size can help. We cannot throw the ball down the field and should not be trying. He is getting Howard involved more, which we need. I simply cannot understand why Worley does not run the ball some.
Hell if Worley would hold on to it he would get five ypc. He looks scared to hold on and run.
I'm proud of our defense. UGA's offense is really good, so they're gonna make plays, but we're still in it bc of our defense.
Only thing holding this team back is our QB. I've given Worley the benefit of the doubt up until now. When you're halfway through the season in an offense heavily relying on read option and u NEVER keep the ball, you're crippling the entire offensive gameplan.
Why exactly did you guys want to call a timeout? UGA would have had an extra minute before the half.
I may get flamed, but I think it was a smart move.
I am afraid this may be true. I don't think watching this complete lack of imagination and(or) innovation will excite many highly rated players. A lot of players were sold on the hype without seeing the product.
