"The Berry brothers will be back in town this weekend and it's another chance for Tennessee's staff to let them know they are wanted as apart of the Vol family."

Had to steal this from the other thread.

So, Coach Z's last tweet interests me. It was something to the tune of "....Brick by ______!!!" The optimist in me thinks he bleeped it out because they just got two bricks at once. "Brick by Bricks" will be what it reads later this weekend...

Interesting theory. I'll allow it.

Solid theory. I saw that tweet earlier but I was too dumb to think of that lol. Hope you're right!

Damn, you are good. Hope that is it

You're thinking Evan then. He's the one that beat Eric in a race

Evan has been clocked at 4.37/8 I think. Dude can play WR and be good at it I think. Of course WR isn't of dire need, but I'd like to see him get the ball in his hands somehow on offense. Maybe play on both sides of the ball, but I think our recruiting has definitely helped secondary. And he seems to want to play WR over DB, and I'm down with that ish

Yeah I'd like Evan at WR, but that'd mean moving Vic to DB IMO. Elliot could really be a RB/S/LB. I'd personally like him at RB and Evan at WR

possibilities are endless...good problem to have

best part is this staff is recruiting athletes that are also football players...this will be a great team - just a matter of time

The biggest reason why the Berrys are still takes is because they are so flexible. They are grade A, high 4* caliber ATHLETES, but without a true position, they will remain relatively underrated. Once they get on campus, they will receive positions and be able to really get to training. They won't be Eric and make immediate impact, but come they're Junior and Senior years, they will be great players. The Berrys are long term smart investments.

IMO, both Berrys are RS players going in. Elliot makes a good OLB, and Evan will probably play Slot or CB.

Talked to Berry family. Back home. No commit spoken of. Hmmmm. Hope to have them on @TNSportsRadio on Monday

“They’re pretty high, if they’re not leading,”

“I’m not really close on making a decision. It’s just a lot of schools, I guess they shy away because they feel like I’m a lock for Tennessee, so they’re really the only school that’s really recruiting me hard right now. I’m not ready to (commit), but ... they’re the only school really recruiting me hard right now.

“I really like the new, finished product up there,” he said. “I like what coach (Butch) Jones is doing, and I think there was some pretty decent competition at the camp.”

“It’s just, at this point, I really like what the coaches are doing. I like the enthusiasm of the players. (Friday) night at, like, 10 o’clock it was, like, eight true freshmen in there — quarterbacks, receivers, (defensive backs) — doing one-on-ones and throwing the ball in the complex, so I just really liked the enthusiasm they had and how passionate they are about working hard.”

He talked to a lot of recruits at camp, but they didn't talk to him about committing. He said that not a lot of other schools are recruiting him. He believes its because schools think he's a lock to UT. Sounded like he wanted to be recruited by other schools, and I don't blame him.
