Honestly, I read something that said he may play QB this year. Their team is in need and he and one other guy were the only two candidates the article specifically noted as possibilities. They also have a new coach.

Eric played played both QB and CB in high school as well. I hope Evan gets to play some in the secondary this year. Didn't he play LB/DE last year?

If ratings were bssed on pure speed then stanton truitt should be 5*.

football rankings should always be about football.

I cant wait to see the Berry Bros put on the orange and represent us and their family. Screw a star rating from a politic/money driven website

That's how I feel about it as well. These kids a team players and they play multiple positions for their team. If they played one position then they would probably be rated higher but who cares. These kids are ballers!

What makes you an expert on what any athlete can become in the hands of capable coaches, Evan has the tools to play any position he desires 200 lbs & a 4.34 40 & being coached up says he can

I took it as him saying he doesn't think Evan is the biggest fan of contact. I have no idea if this is accurate or if that's even what he meant, it's just the way I took it tho.

If so my bad, I simply don't understand limiting a kid before he even steps foot on a college field but if its a not liking contact thing that's a horse of a different color

If that's the case put him at corner. I seem to remember a dude named Leon Sandcastle who didn't like contact. He did aight imo.

That's where I hope he ends up. I know he wants to play on offense (what skill position player doesn't?). But man with the right coaching he could be a lock down corner with his size/length, speed, and athleticism. Not to mention how nice it would be to finally have that kind of speed at corner again.

Sorry if this has been answered 4033324 times, but we're pretty sure Evan and Elliott are done deals, right? Just a matter of time? If not, just wait until Eric meets them over the middle.

While I completely agree with this, Mr Sanders made up for his lack of wanting contact by being one of the top athletes of all time. In any sport. Man, his highlight reels are fun to watch.

Yes, he made up for it with the best closing speed possibly ever. Give you a free release off the line, bait the QB into throwing, close on it, pick it.

I for one am not convinced Evan Berry doesn't like contact though. And I'm in no way saying he's the next Sandcastle. But just saying take what one does well and build on it.
