Like him at CB personally. Berry, Gaulden, and Sutton would be some good sized CBs. All can absolutely fly too. Now add TKjr and McDowell at safety to the mix and you've got something. :)

SN: Foreman and Payne will make PT at CB a fun competition as well. :)

And of course when we run the nickle and dime packages we will need the extra quality depth.

On mobile so I can't link it, but it looks like one the Berrys teammates died after getting injured in a scrimmage last night. Tragic. Story on the AJC.

News story stated that 11th grader (name not released) was injured in a scrimmage and died at Grady Memorial Hospital. No details of how he was injured.
Prayers go out to his family and the Creekside High community. Very sad.

That's terrible. Can't imagine how many hearts dropped into stomachs that night. The only silver lining is that it wasn't a traumatic head injury or paralysis situation. The story says he collapsed on the field, which is obviously pretty indicative of a (probably dormant) medical condition.

Dammit thats awful. Seems as though these conditions should be identified through thorough physical exams instead of the cattle drive exams I experienced as a youth.

Good Lord that is so sad. Maybe an undiagnosed heart condition or something similar? Horrible for the family

That's terrible.. Makes me thankful for all the years I've had playing sports serious injury free

No telling what the cause is. The M. E. will come up with the cause. Hurts when something like this happens. I just hope that he lived what life he had to the fullest. All any of us can do is give our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. Trying to lay blame or asking why does not help, and can only increases the hurt.

I disagree. Your characterization of my post as laying blame does not make it so. And asking why is what has made human beings a successful species... To prevent future tragedies through knowledge. No need to find something in a post that isn't there and then preach. The emotive that spawned it is the one you need to address
