I am still not sold they come here. I am leaning yes however.

I'm with you.
They've had a weird recruitment. It's almost like they are begging another school to start recruiting them harder so they don't have to choose UT. Maybe they're just trying to add spice to it, but it seems like if they knew they wanted to be Vols and other schools weren't even contacting them anymore that they would just commit. Just weird.

“Tennessee is most definitely recruiting me harder because of my brother, (former Vols and current NFL star) Eric Berry,” he said. “When I do talk to them, I talk to (UT offensive grad assistant) Anthony Parker. We have a good relationship because he went to school with my brother. That’s the only coach I really talk to right now. They just ask how I’m doing and stuff like that.”

“My dad went there so I grew up with Tennessee and Rocky Top,” Berry said. “My brother went there, so it’s like Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee. It’s a Tennessee household, so I was a fan.”

“He doesn’t care where I go,” he said. “He would like for me to go to Tennessee, but at the end of the day he said it’s my choice. He’s not the one that’s going to spend the next four years there. Wherever I’m comfortable, that’s where he wants me to play at. He tells me to play hard, find the football and to stay humble. All of this can be taken away within a second.”

In a nice little twist, however, in the article, Evan said that he really wants a shot at WR and/or RB in college. But, a lot of schools are recruiting him as a DB.

A running back lineup of Hurd, Paulk, and Berry would be fun to watch.

I hope he ends up at corner. It's so much easier to win a game with a defense that makes it very hard to score points.

From rivals recruiting staff- Mike Farrell.

Every year, there are prospects across the country who are virtual locks for a particular school from the moment an offer is extended. Whether it be a lifelong affinity, family connections or even a school pipeline, there are just certain players who are destined for certain schools. This year is no exception, with plenty of players not technically committed who are likely to end up at an obvious destination. The Rivals.com national team takes a look at the biggest no-brainers still on the market.

FIRST AND TEN: THE LIKELY LOCKS

DBS ELLIOT BERRY/EVAN BERRY, FAIRBURN (GA.) CREEKSIDE: TENNESSEE

Tennessee fans like to say that the Berry twins were Vols from the day they were born. While that might be an overstatement, it’s not far off base. The Berrys’ older brother, Eric, is a Tennessee legend, and the two grew up around the program. Neither likes to talk about recruiting, and outside of flirting with Auburn, neither has done much in terms of visiting or camping over the past few months. If Tennessee doesn’t land both, it would be a major shocker.
