West Virginia has been losing a ton of good defensive players in the portal. Regardless this could be a good pass rusher for us. 6’2 250, played DE in a 4-3 at WVU. 1 and done guy. Likely a day 3 NFL prospect in the next draft with a good season.

Question @VOLUNTEERSZN - if this was his Junior year with the COVID rule, would he not have two years eligibility remaining? Or am I misunderstanding the rule . . . I think he would be a great add even if it is for one year.

He’s dropped weight since then, those are HS measurables. Former 2 star recruit actually

If the staff evaluates him as a take, I want him. There are some downsides from taking players from the transfer portal, but most have some playing experience that can be evaluated.
