I happened to remember last year after the TSIO when Matthew Butler seemed so quietly enraged and determined. It’s one of those moments when you get this vibe that there’s going to be a reckoning for what has happened, a rebalancing of sorts.

Even though MB is graduated and off to the NFL now, I think that spirit has carried over in this team. Tonight, the scales rebalanced. For all the former players who had to suffer through this 15 years of hell and graduate without ever tasting victory in the greatest of all college football rivalries, I hope tonight has been one of joy and vindication.

Unlike many in the recent past, this Vols team can finish.
