Let's see here. Last year Sal's defense held Missouri to 28 points in regulation with their starting qb. This year, they get 31 with a backup. Bring back Sal. Last year, our offense scored 28 in regulation. This year we scored 3. Bring back Chaney. Bring back their boss, Derek Dooley. At least he gave us a chance to get into overtime by avoiding a turnover in the last minute.
Yeah but we're starting to also get extremely nitpicking here in a means of further self-depricating ourselves because we feel bad, frustrated, or depressed about this game's outcome.
My opinion has more to do with the last 5 years than tonights result.
2008: 3-5
2009: 4-4
2010: 3-5
2011: 1-7
2012: 1-7
2013: 1-4
More of a fair point, but I still think cellar is reserved for...well we've seen Vandy and UK in the past (or well, UK in the present)...your "hey, a 5 win season would be an absolute dream"
We'll have to wait and see how the season ends really...but I don't think we're that far down or else everyone would be marking us down as automatic wins.
Everyone in the SEC pretty much has.
