'05 UNC vs '12 UK

I actually have to go with KY on this. especially if we are talking end of the year NCAA tourney form. That loss to vandy did to KY exactly what they needed to have done.

The 1989-90 or 1990-91 UNLV Runnin Rebels would beat either one.

Jerry Tartanian put together the best NCAA basketball team i have ever seen.

I'm not sure UK would have been the best team in this tournament if Cuse or UNC had everybody available. Either opponent would have made for a great game.

I think 2012 UK would beat 2011 UConn and very possibly 2010 Duke as well. But, I'm going with 2005 UNC and definitely 2007 Florida.

UK really did have a lucky run to the final four. They played a 16,8 (iirc),4,3,4,2. Could have played Duke,Missouri/Mich St, Syra/UNC. Any of those teams had a nice chance of upsetting UK.

Pre-tournament, I thought only Cuse and UNC had enough talent to "beat" UK. I thought coaching would give Duke and Michigan State a shot. I didn't think anyone else had a chance. I saw enough of KU in the MSG game, and I saw enough of OSU when they couldn't beat 2011 UK, with Diebler on the outside.
