'09 JUCO DL/DE Rae Sykes

Was he a LB or a End in HS?
That build would put him ahead of most if not all HS DE's.

I know it is pure speculation, but where does Sykes fit in next year as a D End. We seem to have some talent and some experience coming back there.

Seeing how he has had 2 years to mature his body/strenght/conditioning I see him getting some good playing time. He's pretty quick so as long as he's improved technique he should get some good snaps.

I thought this day would never come. IMO, Sykes was the most impressive recruit in our 07 class not named Eric Berry. He is a beast. Top 5 defense in the nation already, then comes Monte F'N Kiffin and 5 beasts from JUCO. Guys so huge and fast we don't know where to play them.

I don't know if Sykes is at 260, but I hope he is.

G. Williams is not 270

Jonathon Hollins will need to add about 20 lbs to be effective this year.

Now this is an impressive list. Rivals has Sykes at 240, but that might not be right. It has Marlon Walls at 225 and I think you are right on his weight. I actually read and article where he was around 255 and he wanted to get his weight back down a little. I believe he will be a beast too.

I like how the picture has cropped the dumbbells that he has in his hands so it looks like he's just standing there being ripped.
