Hurst is focused on Wake Forest, Arizona, Kansas State, Tennessee, TCU, and UNC. Wake and Tennessee (sans) offer speculated as his top schools. Won't decide until near signing day.

Hurst has been offered by all of those schools except Tennessee, and the Volunteers appear to be close to offering.

Hurst is one of the best cornerbacks in the state of Texas."They're trying to get some film on me, but they said that I would probably be getting an offer pretty soon" he explained.

It has been rumored that Hurst is slow-playing his recruitment while he waits for the Tennessee offer.

Why haven't we offered? He looks like he can be a great addition after he hits the weights. He has very good potential.

looks like a nice prospect. needs a lil weight but he wont see the field for at least 2 years anyway. sounds like he wants to be at tennessee. we are really deep though in the secondary. we have incoming recruits to take the spot of the seniors. this year we lose, willingham, johnson, and gaines.

He could contribute as a redshirt freshman. Also I think we need to get him in seeing they will probably use D.J. Hunter in a Berry type of role.

It looks like he has good hips and with coaching could be pretty good. Seems to have a nose for the ball and is not afraid to come up for run support.
