What a day in basketball

Wow indeed. I recall some postings after the Vandy loss about how bad UT would be on the road, we'd win no more than 2 games, if we can't beat Vandy there aren't many other teams we can beat, etc.

Using that logic, if the #1 team in the country loses by 20+ on the road against an unranked team, they must be feeling REALLY bad about their chances of beating anyone on the road the rest of the season.

Maybe, just maybe, our losses aren't that bad.

YEah, my opinion has probably changed a little. I think no matter how bad the home team is they still have a chance against anyone.

I think being at home helps, but it isn't everything. Again, OSU was at home and needed a little help and a huge shot to beat us today.

Most of the time I'm right there with you - we feel WAY worse after a loss and think about all the 'what ifs' that didn't go our way. OSU and Texas were saying the exact same thing after losing to us.

But I give this team the benefit of the doubt playing on the road, b/c 1) 4 of them are freshmen, 2) they never quit, 3) they've only played a few road games still, and 4) they lost by the slimmest of margins.

I think I'm 90% over the loss now. I believe in this team and will love watching them continue to develop.

This is why UNC will not be cutting down the nets this yr..terrible Defense..when they buy into and play some they will be tough to beat..until then :mega_shok:

I thought they would be good on D. Hans and Wright should be tough inside and Lawson is good outside. Maybe not as good a pressing team as usual. Looks like they've battled back well but probably a waste.
