It's amazing to me how good Lady Vol fans really are and looking at the attendance for an exhibition game at better than 10,000 and WOW! UNC played Carson Newman before TN and had a couple hundred people there and looking at the pictures that was probably generous. Fan support is so important and these Lady Vols certainly get an extra boost from all these fans that continually show up.

Lady Vol attendance is something to be proud of, but not at the expense of other teams. For the health of women’s basketball, it behooves us all to rejoice in increased fan support for all teams. What is the joy of having great attendance in Knoxville while no one at other schools cares and doesn’t give a hoot or know anything about Tennessee’s great program or history.
