K-State controls its destiny.

K-State or Oregon (just based on ranked teams left)

possibly a problem is that, with the way they're both beating their opponents, several of these remaining opponents could likely lose their rankings (esp in KSU's case w/ Ok St & Tex) when by season's end (Oregon, likely USC and/or stanford/OrSt could still be ranked, relative to the rest of the conference's games)

If Stanford loses the two games they are supposed to lose (Or. St. and Oregon), then Stanford drops out of the Top 25.

USC likely shows up in the PAC-12 Championship with 4 losses; that is not good for Oregon.

With the gap already in place, I just do not think that Oregon can make up the ground with their remaining schedule nor can Notre Dame with theirs (Pitt, Boston College, Wake, and a 3-loss USC team that will likely finish with 5 losses).

Of course, none of this means anything if K-State, Oregon, and Notre Dame do not take care of business.

I have a hard time imagining a scenario in which Notre Dame could go undefeated and get left out of the NCG. Just too much money on the table there for ESPN. Bama/ND would almost certainly the most watched BCS game in history. Maybe that's not how it works out, but K-State doesn't play a conference championship game either and Oregon's schedule is ridiculously easy other than the USC and Stanford games.

ND will drop one before the end of the season IMO.

If KSU and Oregon are both undefeated Oregon will be left out.
