LB Barry James (6-1 250) of Mobile, AL has offers from Clemson, Auburn, and Arkansas. He is also being contacted by USC, LSU, FSU, North Carolina, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Michigan. James plans to go to junior day at Auburn March 7th and that will be his first one. "I don't know about any others," he said. He says if he is not invited, he is not going. James is a big linebacker but still wants to play the position in college. "I think I may get taller, but I hope I don't get any wider," said James. He had 80 tackles and five sacks last season. James did not name any favorites. "I'm pretty open," he said adding, "I don't necessarily have to play in Alabama." He wanted to make it clear he will consider all schools.

From the Auburn site. James had a good visit to Auburn and saw a lot more than he had before. He holds offers from Auburn, Arkansas and Clemson, and expects Alabama and Tennessee to offer soon as well. He has no leaders and will not decide until late in the process.

I think it will be hard to pull kids away from AL but hopefully CLT can persuade some of them to come our way.
