One of the top 2010 WR, may be the big reciever Kiffin goes for. Has offers from us (UT), Bama, Auburn, and LSU. 6'4 190 and sports a 4.53 forty. Caught 61 balls for 1288 yards and 18TDS for 20.1 yards per reception. Is apparently coming for junior day. Rivals 250 to watch member. Could be a beast.

I'll go watch him in person for the fellow Vols. I will say this though I wish he would transfer to a 6A school so that we could see what he does against the best competition down here.

"Auburn is No. 1 right now,"

"Coach Troop is a cool dude. He's a good person to be around. He's a real friendly person," Richardson said. "It would be good to play for him. You can get along with him. He doesn't get upset as long as you do what you've got to do."

From Rivals... He says Florida, LSU, Georgia, and Alabama are his top teams behing Auburn...

Well he said he'll wait until signing day which bodes well for us because the longer he gets to know this staff the better. Also if we have just a decent season a bunch of recruits are gonna be coming our way.

"Right now, they are my leader," said the 6-foot-4, 190-pounder. "Auburn is my No. 1."

Richardson currently lists offers from Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Tennessee. But after visits to the Plains this spring and the visit from Auburn Thursday, the Tigers remain as his No. 1 choice.

Per Rivals...

I can not believe this kid wants to go to auburn. I don't ever remember a big time receiver coming out of there. I am sure someone on here can correct me on that, but I don't remember one. Jason Campbell is really the only quarterback that I remember ever being that good either. There offense was worse than ours last year. IMO this kid only goes to Auburn if he is into Chest Bumps and Limo Rides. I guess he liked the candy.

His film compares somewhat to other guys like Marlon Brown and Matt Milton---big guy running away from the rest of the field in sub-par competition.

Right now, I see him staying in-state, though.

FWIW, Tom Lemming of MaxPreps recently named Richardson 19th overall in his 2010 standings.

he doesn't play sub-par teams, used to be in our region. 5A is the 2nd highest division in alabama.

He apparently did, when the coach was editing his highlight footage, however, the key part was "his film."

in his Rivals highlights, he's the biggest, fastest kid on the field. if you have an account, start counting the number of missed tackles on his highlight reel. he runs away from smaller, less athletic players during the entire clip. my statement pertained to his film highlights, not to the level of competition in his team's classification. I stand by my statement, his film is shades of Brown and Milton and therefore it's hard to make a solid judgment based solely off one highlight clip, where the competition showcased isn't very impressive.
