This pretty much replaces Willis. He is the guy I think we get. Dooley already had ties with him and now he can offer him a big time school.

You may be correct, but I think we are gonna make Mike Thornton our #1 DT target. It will be hard to get him though...

Wouldn't really call him a hidden gem, his offer list is pretty solid.

If he ended up signing with LA Tech it would have been the same as signing say a 5* here would it not? At 6'2 and 310lbs this guy looks ready to play as a true freshman.

But I'm confused. The naysayers said since we hired a La Tech coach we'd have to settle for 2* kids that Tulane couldn't get?

Yea but look at where Auburns coach came from and the players he has been bringing in... Goes to show you that majority of the time it is the University that gets the player not the coach. God Bless CDD. I hate you X and O.

Just wondering do you think it is ok for our coach to go after former recruits he had once recruited to La Tech like Coach Kiffin does former Tennessee recruits?

I dont think anyone had a problem with CLK recruiting our players, the problem lies with Coach O and CLK conspiring to call kids already on campus and imploring them not to go to class the next day.

there's a big difference

Kids SHOULD commit to a school and not the Coach. Doesn't always end up that way. Coaches come and go., but the school and fans will forever remain.
