Scouts saying he has opened up his recruitment, wants to look around some more, especially the SEC.

he claims cal is still #1 though why decommit than? there have been rumors for a while that he wasn't 100% though. seems like cal and tenn are going after a lot of the same players this year.

"I'm seriously thinking about the SEC," said Marsh. "New schools I really like are LSU and Oklahoma. And I'm still looking at USC and Tennessee."

I'm honestly impressed by any white kid that legitimately has the ability to play DT for a top 6 SEC school.

this guy isn't a 3*. he's one of the top guys on the west coast. SC's been going after him real hard. apparently his mom doesn't like the neighborhood around campus though.

“I like LSU and Tennessee for the SEC, Oklahoma, and then USC and Cal out West,” he said. “I was young and got rushed on my commitment, so I need to be able to get out and see some things before making any decision like that. It was a weight off my shoulders being able to open back up, and I want to take advantage of things.”

Per Scout... Hubbs was asked about Marsh earlier today, and he said that if USC really wants this kid, it will be hard for anyone to stop them...

"I wanted to open up mu recruitment because I only saw schools in California," Marsh said. "I want to see schools in the SEC."

"I'm going to try to take in some in the south," Marsh said. "I hope to camp at either Tennessee or Florida's Friday Night Lights Camp."

Besides the conference in general, Marsh says he also likes the Tennessee coaches. “They have an amazing staff,” he said. “Guys like (recruiting coordinator/defensive line) coach Ed Orgeron, (head) coach Lane Kiffin, (defensive coordinator) coach Monte Kiffin, (assistant coach/tight ends) coach James Cregg. They’re all amazing."

“They’re really getting Tennessee back on the map,” he said. “I think they’ll be big-time over the next few years."
