It's going to be hard to pull this prospect out of California but we have still offered and our staff is hard at it.

USC has offered and he's has enjoyed his visits there. He's a real big-bodied kid that can run and jump. Seems to make the catch effortlessly. I haven't seen any film of him blocking so I don't know how good he is there.

I agree that it will be hard to get a California kid that USC wants, but he is an amazing talent.

USC has already got a commit from the #1 TE in the country in Xavier Grimble.

That could help us out.

UGA getting the top TE last year didn't help us out with Orson Charles... but, it definitely doesn't hurt that USC has Grimble's commitment.

Likes LSU.

“I want to get down in the summer for a camp or maybe in the fall on an official visit,” he said. “LSU is the type of passing offense that keeps things balanced, and I like that.

“After talking with the coaches, I feel like I need to see if it is the kind of place I can see myself fitting in at.”

Scout.com: No. 3 ranked TE likes LSU

Any possibility he would want to play WR? If he's a legit 4.5 I wouldn't put it past Kiffin to split him out.
