"I am looking for a school that is strong in my major of kinesiology or pre-med, so academics will be very important to me," Telfer said. "Athletically, I want to attend a school with a great football program, has a great tradition and an outstanding network."

"Then I will look at the type of offense they run and they use the tight end," Telfer said. "Also I will look into how many tight ends they have on the team and how many they are recruiting."

"I would prefer to make my college decision in a month or two, but I don't have a date in mind."

With USC, UCLA and Stanford in the mix now, he seems Pac-10 bound.

He looks like he is 50. Surely that is just a bad picture and not salt and pepper hair.

I know TE is not a huge need for us, especially if the staff puts D. Jones at TE. However, I don't think it would hurt to make a call out to Rancho Cucamonga and see how Telfer is doing since the Carroll fiasco exploded. I also realize that we are approaching our scholly "limit" so spots are getting more based on immediate need rather than collecting overall talent. But I digress...

TE is a huge need. If D. Jones does not go out there or Milton does not become a TE then all we have is Stocker and he is a senior next year. Ben Barth...is not a true TE.

The number one TE they have Grimble I think is not going to budge I think...I believe his little brother is also committed for like 2012 or something but not sure. We also had no relationship with him as far as I know. Cregg was after this guy. JMO...maybe LV or Sab know more.

Some dude who has been watching practice says he was impressed with Adderly. Tall and athletic. I'm not saying he will be any good, but I was surprised when I heard it cuz it was from someone pretty credible...
