just received an offer from ut and we will get an official visit according to this from espn

• Kenny Stills (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) picked up offers from Tennessee and Nebraska on Tuesday. The offer from the Vols is especially big because Stills said they were one of his favorites, even without an offer and they'll definitely get an official visit.

Watched a video of the LA combine. boy really impressed me and would be a great pickup from the west coast. nice offer list as well.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Tennessee enter this race. I like Stills a lot, having seen his name every time I've read about a west coast camp.

I thought I knew what CLK's résumé brought, but to see Stills, Robert Woods, and Tony Jefferson (3 blue chip California WR prospects) all mention Tennessee as a school of interest----well, I continue to be impressed.

The perception of Tennessee is really changing. Wait till Tennessee gets to showcase its aerial attack over the next couple seasons.

In a few years Tennessee will likely once again put the conference's best athletes on the field.

Couldn't agree more with your post JACK. Only thing is, we may not have a good passing game for a year or two. I am hoping that our running game opens up more 1 on 1s with our recievers and JC can hit them.

On Saturday, he was named MVP of the Scout.com Combine in Los Angeles. On Monday, Florida offered.

Then Tuesday night, another SEC program joined the ranks.

"Tennessee just offered me," said Stills. "I'm jacked about that one."

Per Scout... Vader likes the sound of that...

Elite prospect in this class. Amazing to see Tennessee's name pop up everywhere once again. It's been a good decade since that was happening.

I wonder what the effect of signing a Cali boy like Scroggins would have on our recruiting chances with Stills? I know it would be positive, but would that be enough for him to sign and also Woods and Chamberlain?

"I was just offered by Oklahoma two minutes ago," Stills said. "It's big time being seen by the Big 12. Oklahoma has done a good job getting their receivers to the NFL, so this offer is very exciting.

"I also have picked up offers from Florida, Tennessee and Nebraska," Stills said. "Tennessee and Florida are also big time. It's SEC football. The SEC loves football and so do I.

Yeah, this kid is legit. I think him and Trovon Reed are my top two WR's in 2010.

Ken Stills Sr. played Free Safety for the Packers and Vikings for 6 years and is a NFL Euro Coordinator currently. Hopefully the "coaching" factor will benefit UT like it did with Myles and Janzen Jackson.

Funny thing is Monte left Minnesota for one year in 1990 and returned in 1991, and 1990 was Stills Sr. only year in Minnesota so they just missed eachother.

we might get an official visit. but i was concerned by one of his quotes. he said he wants to go to a national championship contender, he doesnt want to be a part of some rebuilding process.

If he wants to go to national championship contender then the would eliminate penn st in my opinion.
