At 6'1 with a 4.44 forty, he is a coveted cornerback and special teams prospect.

"Florida State and Tennessee offered me today," Watkins said. "I love the secondary at Florida State and it's also close to home for me. Tennessee is an up and coming school. I'm looking forward to getting to know the both of them."

Best skills talent I've seen for any 2010 player so far. His tape reminded me alot of Percy Harvin's. This young man is electric.
He should be a top CB/Safety prospect. I like his tenacity at safety, that's where I would put him, great instincts, ball hawk type player who can lay the wood.

He makes some of those defenses look silly when he is on the O side of the ball.

Watch the moves at 1:30 and 6:18, that's good stuff right there. Also loved the hit at 2:15.

I don't care where these kids say they are going! If we learned and anything this past(current )recruiting season is not to count anyone out with this staff with what happened on signing day with Nuke, Teague and later J. Jackson not to mention the two or three guys still twittling there thumbs.

"Florida leads right now. The other schools that standout are Ohio State, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida State. But Florida is No. 1."

He has also stated that he wants to take the process at a slow pace.

Man that tape was sick... He looks like a stud DB, with Jeremy Maclin type return skills. Probably either him or Joyner will be the top DB recruit in '10.

I would leave Robert Woods Jr. & Christian Bryant in that discussion too. Both of those guys could probably have success on either side of the ball as well.

'Nuff said. Please see the 0:45 mark. And if you're wondering yes, that is Jaamal Berry, the number 5 ranked RB in the country who runs a 4.43 forty per rivals.

Oh and Bryants not nearly as impressive and Woods in getting recruited primarily as a WR.

I wasn't trying to fight you on it. I was just implying that our DB/ATH offer list has some depth to it. We certainly have some playmakers on the radar. :hi:

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as defensive. With our defensive staff that we put together, we should have a huge year recruiting, especially defensively. Any DB that doesn't want to play under Monte Kiffin is insane.
