ASSETS: Has excellent body structure, is a natural knee bender and a superior athlete for an offensive lineman.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Needs to continue to hit the weights and work on adding more size to his frame.
WHAT WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE AT COMBINE: Was completely dominant in the linemen one-on-ones. Williams also demonstrated the ability to snap with quarterback under center and in shotgun. His performance was so impressive he earned Overall Camp MVP.
CONCLUSION: College coaches take notice - this is one of the top center prospects in the entire southeast and he also sports a 3.2 GPA.

I think we are basically shooting as many 3* Olineman offers and see if we get any interest, I mean why the hell not ya know?

My dad played center for Bear Bryant at Kentucky in the 50s and my kid brother played center for a lil school (Austin Peay State U) so I grew up with some extra understanding of the interior line and I would be thrilled if we got this guy. Dermontti Dawson (future NFL hall of famer) was about 290lbs and dominated. Smart, quick, strong and smart and in that order.

Bring him on and beef him up. I just saw the Colts kick butt in NFL championship game using 5-11 linebackers. I was once a 70-lb center blocking 140-lb nose guards (it can be done). :hi:

This is why recruiting services have such a hard time evaluating lineman correctly. They can't possibly take the players' intelligence into consideration, which is the most important aspect when comparing hundreds of 6'+ 275+ lineman.

For everyone saying this guy is to small, I hope you realize that our center last year was 6' 1'' 270 pounds...

IMO, if you can't get one of those 5 or 10 OL's each year ready to actually play at the SEC level then you recruit small and build them up. I've seen alot more problems with guys going down than up. Up is almost always increases muscle mass. Even when a guy can lose weight it sometimes costs strength.

This and what a guy can actually do against players that can match them physically. Most highly rated OL's see only a handful of guys who can actually challenge them through their whole HS career.
