Do you think we have a good shot at this kid after he attended the camp this week?

We have a good shot at any kid that attends camp, IMO. They came to be with our coaching staff and honestly I think it will pay dividends in the future. Someone said that we had more talent on campus those 2 days than we had in 5 years combined.

Thats really great to hear. This staff is relentless in its effort to find the best possible players. I love it.

Coach, I hope you stick around. It will be nice to have your input on the recruits in S. Florida.

Tennessee is doing well down here - UT has one of the best recruiting staffs in the nation, that is for sure!

Eddie Gran is one of the best people in the business. He is a genuinely great man, and it is displayed in the way he recruits - a GREAT spokesperson for UT football.

Very underrated coach when he was brought on. Overshadowed by the likes of coach O and Monte but he could prove to be the most valuable.

5-foot-10-inch, 175-pounder from North Broward High School, Grant earlier had verbally committed to the University of Oregon. But a variety of factors led the four-star tailback to reopen his recruitment.

"Well it was a sit-down with me and mom and my uncle," Grant said of restarting the recruiting process. "We decided we shouldn't shut out other schools and just keep it open."

Grant ? with upcoming camp appearances at Minnesota and likely at Ole Miss -- further has a pretty strong early opinion of how he feels about Tennessee

"They're in my top five," he said.

Heck yea. Would be a really nice player to get out of the sunshine state. Seems to be high on Tennessee right now. Hope it stays that way.

This is the speed we need returning kicks. Also could be a big time weapon on screens. I really think he could add to our RB corps. We have power, moves, very very good speed, but this is a burner.
