Reese's breakout, 2008 campaign during which he gathered 40 passes for almost 800 yards and 10 touchdowns.

"I talked to their coach who was down here (Eddie Gran) when he was at my school," Reese said of the Vols. "He said he was trying to get me, the quarterback (Jeffrey Godfrey and the running back (Brandon Gainer) up there to see campus. So we were like, 'we can do that.'"

Miami has not offered but Reese said the Hurricanes would shoot up the charts if they decided to because it's close to home and has a good history of putting wide receivers in the NFL.

Distance should not be a major roadblock for Reese, who said Tennessee is a serious option and that he wants to go wherever he can get on the field. Florida State is also making a push but the Seminoles have not been talking to Reese as much as the other schools.

"I like Florida State," Reese said. "They've been sending me mail but I haven't talked to them as much. … Wherever I play, I'll go. The traveling part (to Tennessee) wouldn't be such a matter. I hear from them a lot."

From Mike Farrell...

I like his junior teammate Charles Gaines Jr.. I see a lot of potential in that kid and another Junior they have but forgot his name.

According the NYC, this kid is one of the top 5 WR prospects on our board. Have not heard much about him

“I watched the Tennessee game (on Sept. 19) on TV and it wasn’t how I expected. I thought Florida would put up more points.

“Tennessee really impressed me in that game,” he said. “They fought real hard and it looks like the new coaches are doing good. I’ve heard some good things about the coaching staff and I like what Tennessee is doing.”

Per Scout... He plans on taking trips to UT, WVU, and South Florida...

Recruiting is a crazy thing...we have possibly 4 wrs committed for this class with 2 talented freshman from last year...with a bunch of other wrs that will be back next yr...and it seems like we are getting attention like crazy from wrs...

While if a recruit watched the fla game, one would think that wrs would be the last position that would show interest.

Ill be a lot less stressed on the recruiting front when we get some OL, then we can see if we can add another wr....

WRs want to come here because they think that we need playmakers at the position. And we do need playmakers at the position.

"Right now, I don't any one favorite," Reese said. "I guess I'm most interested in all the schools who have been on me the hardest from the beginning up until right now. That would include, of course, Nebraska as well as West Virginia, Central Florida, South Florida and probably Tennessee."

Per Rivals... We are holding steady in his top 5...

I'll take this kid as our last receiver and probably say it's the best WR class ever. I know those are strong words, but I'm pretty sure we have been hard on this kid for awhile now, and anytime I can take a quality WR from the state of Florida I'm happy.
