He's 6'0 170 as a junior. exactly. most kids don't grow after their junior in hs. I'm wondering how tall and how much weight is he gonna gain in 2 years.

That weight is most likely from a combine he attended this summer, right after his sophomore year. Height wise he probably won't grow very much, but he can still put on plenty of weight.

Word arrived on Thursday that Tennessee has offered a scholarship to Gainesville junior quarterback Blake Sims.
“That felt really good,” said Sims, who also has offers from Arkansas, Michigan, Ole Miss, South Carolina and West Virginia. “It’s great to get an offer from a school like Tennessee. I visited that school last summer.
“It’s close to home, and that’s one reason my family likes it. I just thank God everyday for every offer I get.”

I feel like we're offering him as an ATH, but I'm not quite sure. I'll have to ask some guys over at Gville what they think.

I'm sure this young man is special and all, but I don't understand why Kiff would want him a not Boyd. But I don't really care as long as he helps us win games

I think Boyd's ACL injury played a bigger part than people think.

Michigan made their first scholarship offer to Inkster’s Devin Gardner this past summer. Since then, the Wolverines have offered five additional class of 2010 quarterbacks, including Orchard Lake St. Mary’s prospect Robert Bolden. Their most recent offer went to Gainesville, Ga., record-setting passer Blake Sims.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Sims threw for 2,785 yards, rushed for more than 1,000 yards and accounted for 42 touchdowns. Sims boasts 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash and has the dual-threat capabilities Rodriguez prefers.

"I went… up to Notre Dame when they played Michigan this year and I was actually watching the offense of Michigan," said Gainesville assistant coach Todd Wofford. "We run a similar offense and I was close enough to listen to some of the calls of plays they were running. They were similar plays and Blake would totally fit into that offense because it's 99% what we run."

Michigan offered Sims early last week after previously offering his teammate, wide receiver Tai-ler Jones. Wofford believes both will consider U-M going forward.
