"Tennessee is just like Michigan because they came on late. Lane and Monte Kiffin are two great coaches. Actually, that staff has lots of coaching experience and they are very energetic. There's a lot of intensity in that program. The Tennessee facilities are at the top. They will have a great recruiting class and Tennessee is a team on the rise."

Cornileus now has a solid top five that features Michigan, Georgia Tech, Miami, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Tyrone Cornileus - Football Recruiting

The SEC and ACC schools are well represented in his offer list.

As a Jnr in HS and at 6'2" he can easily put on thirty lbs. and not loose a step over the next two years. You recruit for potential and ability and then get 'em in and grow 'em.

Raynoch Thompson was 185 when he arrived at Tennessee. Eric Westmoreland and Eddie Moore were both about 195 lb high school tailbacks.

Current weight for a high school linebacker is one of the most overblown and overated statistics out there.

The hard thing is determining where they're going to end up at that size. Some guys never put on the 20-30 lbs that is necessary to play LB at this level. Some end up better suited for safety or defensive back.

I agree it all comes down to their build and frame.

That is why I would assume when you see 195 lb players like this already being "projected" as linebackers then they probably have the build/frame to carry the required weight 2 and 3 years down the road.

but he is "projected" as a saftey(on scout), but currently plays LB. If he adds the weight good, he needs some pop to his hits.
