Yes, he did. UF is pulling them in by the truck loads and they are not done.

This is what I wanted to happen at UT's camps.

He had named UF his leader a while back. Nobody should be surprised if it's true that he committed to the Gators.

Interesting...about 6 post up you said you don't think he goes to UF...

Just messing with ya man! I am kind of glad we don't have this kid just based on the fact I feel like I have a lisp every I say his name.:)

Now, let's not start holding ourselves accountable for old thoughts. :)

"I wuld like ta gradulate him on his durcision ta play for Corch Urvin Meyers, Go Gada" Congressman Corrine Brown

You think if they have more then 28 recruits wanting to play they won't find a way to get them. Make the smart ones get academic schollies and have them " walk on". Bama did it last year

Academic scholarships still count against the limit of 85. Walk-ons receive no money of any kind, athletic or academic.

This sucks. He was my favorite WR. Fortunately it is still July, and nothing will be signed until Feb. He will still visit Knoxville, and the coaches will undoubtedly make an in home visit with him. We were able to turn Teague and Nukeese last year. Now it looks like we will need to turn some more this year. V,B!

Still got plenty of WR on our board. Milton, Prater, Cobbs ect. I think Ambles had an attitude problem as well. Wasn't really at the top of my board. Still would have been a nice pick up though.

i wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him de-commit at some point if UT looks good this year

I will disagree in regards to the scholarship thing. Any player walking on is eligble for financial aid, grants, and academic scholarship. DI football is required to give out so many athletic scholarships(77) I think to maintain DI status. I will research this but I know other sports allow this and understand that DI football has their own set of rules. Please provide a link if so where this is written in regards to academic schollys counting.

Tiki Barber went to UVA on an academic scholarship. As far as I know that didn't count against their 85...
