"I'm going to recruit for my team now," he said. "They think I can help with bringing in a quarterback and I think I can help that as well. I'm going to start making some calls right away and I need to get myself a Tennessee hat now and wear it wherever I go. I'm a Vol now."

Give me his address and I will mail him a hat.

I did not take time time to read all the post so if this has been posted.......

Seems that our link to him was his coach. Who happens to be our minor league baseball transfer-QB Rozier's father.

**** Caught up on the thread, not previously posted, this was our in, well one of them****

I'm drawing a blank here is there anyone else at Markeith's school we are recruiting or is a top prospect?

This is a great pickup but if he was leaning heavy to Florida, it worries that Florida might come in late knowing this kid may have wanted to go there.

Hopefully we'll get a few more WR and some good OL and this class will be solid

This goes to show you that leans and heavy leans don't mean nothing. Most of the time it's speculation anyway.

he seems pretty arrogant in this article. i like a little arrogance such as what luc displays but ambles is talking like hes going to come in immediatly be our go to guy and that our other recievers suck(even though for the most part they do). he needs to be worried about coming in and working hard while being developed into what the coaches want him to be. i also dont like everybody giving all of the attention to BB. ya hes the next big running back at tennessee but dont forget about oku. hes gonna be good for us too, you gotta show him some love. great pick up though as far as talent goes

There is absolutely NOWAY we get BB, Nuke, Teague, Janzen or Myles Jr. without this staff here. Period.

There is a 0% chance any of them would have signed with Tennessee if this staff weren't here.

BB, Nuke and Janzen wouldn't have even taken visits and Tennessee was out of it with Teague under the previous staff and Myles Jr. was dropping them down his list like a bad habit.

Also there is no way Greg King or Eric Gordon would have been Vols and Nyshier Oliver would not have come back into the fold either.

Tennessee would have finished with a very average class under the previous staff.

They probably would have kept Boyd and Stokes and that overated/overweight JUCO DT that went to Florida, another overated/overweight OL in Aubrey Phillips and DJ Shackelford. They would have lost the RB from Tampa who was going to switch to South Carolina regardless of the coaching change. Who knows they may have lost Stokes and a few others as well had they been kept on staff just like they lost Nunes and Oliver.

The class the new staff brought in was 10X better than what the old staff would have ended up with.

Not to mention that if the old staff was still here, we would end up with the younger Stokes as the QB in this class whose only offer to this point is from Central Michigan.

The fact is he took them later and some believed because he needed to retake them. But again alot of rumors started to surface near NSD and some schools backed off. I don't believe the rumors and I think UT got a great back.

Also Lacy passed his course but we haven't heard anything about Clearing House yet. With Ingram Sophmore, Richardson Freshman, and Prowler coming in for spring I doubr Lacy will ever see the field. UT and UA will both have true freshman starting at RB this season.

Is it true that Lacy had a 13 on his first ACT? That is what I saw on one of the services. But I really do not trust them. How can you raise that without questioning by the NCAA?

No doubt about that!

Also forgot to add the new staff landed these guys as well who probably would not have come to Tennessee under the previous staff:

Arthur Jeffrey (4* Scout)
Mike Edwards (4* Scout)
James Green (4* Rivals)

We would have also had Peter White and the big OL that committed to UVA. His name escapes me at the moment.

Just how accurate are these services that report these academics? There would be no way that Greg King would get in school even if he raised that score 5 points. It would be flagged by the clearinghouse.

They would not have had Peter White. He was going to Maryland all along. His parents were going to put their foot down in the end.

Morgan Moses would maybe have signed with Tennessee but he was a huge longshot to qualify.

That's what Scout reported. It could certainly have been wrong though.

I don't want a receiver that doesn't want the ball. He, Milton, and Nuke sounds good to me. Any QB would want those options.

He apparently used some excessively foul language at Florida's FNL camp that was a little too inappropriate, even for football. After catching a poorly thrown ball over Florida commitment Jaylen Watkins for a touchdown, Ambles allegedly looked right at him and said:

Vols, bitch.....

lulz
