Who cares. We did sign a guy who sexually assaulted someone. If Ambles boned a coach's wife, I'm assuming it was at least consensual. Bring him on.
He's a receiver. Arrogance is in their DNA. Get over it...he seems pretty arrogant in this article. i like a little arrogance such as what luc displays but ambles is talking like hes going to come in immediatly be our go to guy and that our other recievers suck(even though for the most part they do). he needs to be worried about coming in and working hard while being developed into what the coaches want him to be. i also dont like everybody giving all of the attention to BB. ya hes the next big running back at tennessee but dont forget about oku. hes gonna be good for us too, you gotta show him some love. great pick up though as far as talent goes
We don't know, but just going by what JB, Hubbs, Chad Simmons, ..etc, they know whats up, they just won't tell us.No one has any hard evidence that anything ever happened with Markeith. Rumors are rumors, and if he did the coach's wife, I doubt he would still be on the time unless the coach is a complete pushover. A UGA fan told me that they don't know what happened, but that there was definitely an incident that happened in high school, that no one seems to know details about, which was enough for the dawgs not to offer the in-state talent.
He apparently used some excessively foul language at Florida's FNL camp that was a little too inappropriate, even for football. After catching a poorly thrown ball over Florida commitment Jaylen Watkins for a touchdown, Ambles allegedly looked right at him and said:
Vols, bitch.....
Tennessee gets a big commitment and John and Jimmy start out talking basketball today with Elston Turner from Ole Miss. I guess they are trying to hold an audience. Won't make any difference because after they are though the Ambles story I will be turning them off anyway. I am not keen on so much tennis, baseball, and golf.
im pumped that we got Ambles.
over the next week or so i expect some nobody newspapers/sports writers (mostly UF biased writers, no offense to some of the fans on here, but its true) that will come out and say that Ambles is a trouble maker and that UT is a rouge program that will go after "classless" players like MA, and that UF never really wanted him anyways. its only a matter of time...

If this is true....that is SO AWESOME!!!

Scout has him listed as timing a 4.58 in the 40. One thing to remember about 40 times for folks over 6 feet tall is that the longer the legs, the slower the 40 time. Ambles is 6' 2". Now, Robert Meachem and Calvin Johnson are freaks of nature that that rule doesn't ably to, but generally its true.
James Banks was listed at 4.65 in the 40. He was also 6'4", but I don't think anyone ever acused him of being slow at all.
He has had an off the field issue or two along the way, but like I told James just minutes ago I feel Ambles is a good kid overall. He plays with a little chip on his shoulder and he wants the ball every time it is in the air, but I would rather have that in a player than someone that is soft and always wants to be a decoy WR.
