"Right now I really like Tennessee and they are losing some defensive tackles. It's the SEC too. But Missouri is right up there to. And I like Illinois. I just want to pick the best situation for me."

Don't often post alot, but I believe you are right CJVols we need some big, strong, fast and coordinated O-linemen, Not just big. O-linemen in general over the last few years have gotten to big and slow creating a severe disadvantage to the more agile Dlinemen. One sack in the UCLA game showed how true this is when McClendon got beat by Price last drive, one move, not even a good one and he was by getting the sack. Not to mention the number of torn up knees and other issues associated with carrying that much weight. I believe CLK is on the right track with who he is recruiting on the O-line, especially Fulton.

If i remember right this kid was a beast coming out of HS. One of the top DTs in the country. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Committed to Memphis....now for some laughs

Larry Porter received his first commitment since being names as the Memphis HC. D'Angelo McCray was a highly sought 4* out of Jacksonville in 2007. He failed to qualify after signing with Illinois and ended up at Coffeyville (Kansas) CC.

He only had one or two low level offers this season, until Memphis offered last week. Rivals has listed that he has High interest in TN despite not having an offer. Because of this, the moronic bunch over on the Memphis board actually think that Porter just pulled a recruit from CLK and crew. Talk about delusional. As for the kid, I am guessing he was mostly hype seeing as how his offer list has dwindled drastically since HS.

here is the link...you will have to read down a bit to see the TN comments...haha

O liked him from what I know, but they knew he wouldn't ever get in to an SEC school with his grades. Memphis State got a good one, IMO.

Yeah, they sure stole one away from UT alright didn't they. I agree with Eric on this kid. I think he will be a good player.
