I honestly do not think we look to JuCo for a LB at this point. I know what Hubbs said, I just disagree.

The staff wants someone else at LB. If they see that this guy is worthy, then I'm sure he'll visit. Hopefully, grades aren't an issue.

Cool. We'll see. I just can't see taking him unless they don't like where they are with Owens and Jones.

Spaces are valuable.

Yeah I thought the same thing LV..... who knows. All I know is if the staff thinks he can play then he's good enough for me.

He got 0 offers out of high school -- 200 lb, 4.75 40 time. Now he's 215 and his new reported time is 4.65. No serious offers this time around either. Don't see why this guy would be a target. Hey, but he's not as bad as QB Boyd, right? And we don't give scholarships unless they can play -- see future star Lamaison. I just don't get this.

Wasnt just Hubbs, in fact Hubbs didnt give as many hints as Bryant did. I guess tying up 2 years in a scholly must seem more favorable than taking one of the Memphis LBs?

The lamaison kid was a back up. Just think if Cromptons brain stayed mush and stephens broke his arm. Who plays QB? I feel bad for the kid because he could of put up big numbers this year at a juco and gone to a small D1 school this year.

On to this JUCO LB: I know we have talent but look at this year. They ALL got hurt. I think we will be fine and I'd rather hold the offer for a '11 if we don't fill it with a '10 LB. Also there have been rumblings about some of our smaller DE's getting moved to LB

Reveiz- u don't really know if he will be as good as he was

King will be a big player for us in his junior and senior years.

Frazier is an avg player like Reveiz who is servicable.

Askew is unproven and Nelson as well.

thompson- will need to have a big year for us.

We desperately need a big time LB or 2 IMO. Our Lbs are weak compared to the past. Cant wait for AJ Johnson to come!

reportedly had 171 tackles as a high school junior in 2005.

Miss. State offered, but grades were probably why he didn't receive more offers in high school. According to his Rivals interview he just sent film out earlier this month, which would explain why so few schools knew about him. not considering the Patriots, Massachusetts isn't exactly a state known for top-shelf football.
