Scout.com: Ken Adams Profile

Commenting on recruiting, Adams says he may visit another SEC program. “I am still open-minded. Tennessee is recruiting me, too, and we are trying to put something together now.”

Adams left high school early to get a head start on junior college. “Everything with school is pretty good,” he says. “I am planning to graduate in December.”

Per Scout... He has 2 offers from Tennessee and Southern Miss. He is listed as a 3star DE on Rivals, but I am pretty sure we are looking at him as a TE...

He signed with Auburn out of high school as a 6-3 215lb 2star. Since then, he has grew a couple of inches, bulked up with 28 more pounds, and gained another star...

The way it sounds, the staff really likes him. Him being able to come in January would be a huge plus for taking him. I'm not sure how serious Auburn is about resigning him since they have a new staff...

It's be nice to have a talented TE come in for us. From the looks of it they will play a pretty big role in Kiffin's offense so hopefully this guy or somebody else will hop on board, but I'm impressed with the TE play we've had this year.

Are we not going to use Delvin as a TE? If we are I say dont waste a scholly b/c the 2011 class is solid with TE's. I do like Dudchuck though. But I want at least 4 olineman, 1 DB, 1 WR, 1 QB, 1 DL, 1 LB. Where would we scratch one for a TE?

We are going to lose a few commits and a couple aren't going to make it in. We will have room. Getting a true TE is a high priority for this class. I'm not 100% sure Delvin will stay at TE. He is a guy that can play a number of positions and will play where he is best. I'm not convinced his best position is TE. It might be, I dunno, just saying...

Depending on his hands, Channing Fugate could fill this spot nicely.

i thought he was a guy they didnt think would make it in so they backed off?

I'm really not sure. Some people say that, and then some people say Irvin's decommitment completely shocked the staff and they are going to try everything to get him back. I'm leaning towards the ladder right now...

I want Bruce back but as a LB. I think he is a great athlete that could make an imediate impact next year. Everything Ive read says UT is goin to visit this week and try to sway him back!

Planning on taking an official for the South Carolina weekend.

“I have a lot of interest in Tennessee,” Adams said. “I love the SEC and would love to get back there. I’m not committed to anyone right now, I’m wide open.”

Stocker is only a junior so he will probably start next year, so Adams would be 2nd string. I believe Delvin Jones will get redshirted whether he is a TE or a DE.

“Coach (Frank) Wilson is a cool coach,” Adams said. “He was at our game last week. I have been getting to know him the last few months; he is easy to talk to about a lot of things. He seems to be a really great guy.”

Per Scout... It sounds like we are quite interested. He also claims a 4.56 in the forty...

Why would you leave High School early to get a head on JUCO, surely the extra time could have been spent in HS getting his grades up so he would never have had to go to JUCO?

Delvin Jones is still committed? Thought he was with ASU??

Delvin is just looking around. If he is dead set on playing D in college, I cant say I blame him. NOWAY he gets on the field at D-Line with the guys we are bringing in.
