Millard is scheduled to visit Tennessee soon and he hopes to announce a decision during the summer. No date was provided for the visit.

This could be a great pickup for a team in need of a pass-catching tight end to stretch the field.

looks like a tough kid. Good speed. Maybe a Oregron project? I could see him putting on 35 lbs and playing DT. Great motor and loves contact. Who knows..... Just a thought.

He does look like he has good hands. He just likes to hit people to much to play offense.

Also, welcome to the board. :hi:

Thanks. Do you know what would be cool? If someone started a "Visit" thread. That way we don't have to view every single thread to know when someone is visiting. I think it would be helpful anyways. :good!:

Millard will probably be visiting Mon or Tues and Milton on Fri...Good luck with trying to keep the rock painted with one thing for a whole week. It's hard enough just to keep it yours for a day.

My bad...I (incorrectly) assumed he would be coming in next weekend, around the same time as Milton, instead of early next week.

His top 3 are Oklahoma, Iowa, and Syracuse with UT, USCjr., and Vandy still in the mix. It will be tough to beat out the Sooners and Iowa, but I have confidence that our staff will wow him on his visit...

the idea that Syracuse and their ugly orange are ahead of us disgusts me. teams with a consistent 4-8 record in a weak conference and a singular mascot/team name should NOT be a threat.

Syracuse Orange...

Tennessee Vol.

yeah, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense :dunno:

espn...

Tight end / athlete Trey Millard (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) revealed his top five for ESPN affiliate Web site TheBigSpur.com.

"Iowa, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Tennessee, and South Carolina," he said. "I don't have a leader and that is in no type of order or anything."

Several other programs including Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas and Kansas have also offered.

The need for a solid, pass-catching TE in this class seems to go overlooked with all of the QB talk, but we really need someone to stretch the field at the TE position. 6'2" isn't great size for a TE, but his offer sheet is impressive and would love to have him.

Top 3: Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Iowa

on Tennesseee..

They have a great incoming class and I like the coaches. I hung out with some of the guys that are already on the team and they all treated me like I already belong. It was a cool place.

He also says he wants to decide soon, before the start of their season.
