As a sophomore, Parker rushed for 880 yards (6.4 yards per carry) and six touchdowns.

This fall, he's scored 15 touchdowns and is pushing toward 2,000 yards.

"Tennessee offered me last week I think," Parker said. "I was shocked. I hadn't heard too much from them. (South Panola head coach) Coach Pogue had called their coaches. I talked to Coach O, Coach Wilson and basically all of the coaches."

"They're real good," he said of Tennessee. "I'd go. They're on TV a lot and I'd get my chance to shine."

"I like the Texas Longhorns," he said. "I don't know why. I just like them."

his hair looks grey, his face is covered in sweat and it looks like he's trying to catch flies with his mouth.

their QC on photos is poor. how hard is it to snap off a few quick pics with your camera?

With offers also in from Mississippi State, Southern Miss, and Tennessee, what schools will become competition for the Tigers?

Per Scout... LSU just offered him. This is the 2nd RB today that has said that UT is recruiting them the hardest. Our staff is ridiculous...

Yeah. Recruiting is so far making this dead period from football real enjoyable. It feels good to know it will be like this for years to come.

Tennessee is after a couple of offensive lineman from Mississippi, a JUCO defensive lineman, as well as RB Nicholas Parker, who could very well be the only back they sign this year.

LV are we leading for Parker? I thought I read something about you saying we lead for Clements recently. Out of it for Dyer and Seastrunk?

I don't know if we lead at the moment, but I think we will get him if we really want him. It looks like we have almost no shot at Dyer or Seastrunk right now...

Yes, I've always been big on him. I don't think he is way up there on our board. I'd say he's in the top 10 RBs on our board for sure. I'd take him over Gore. He could play a number of different positions as well...

I personally believe that we would only take Parker if we miss on many other players. We are so loaded at RB that I think unless coaches think he can come in and be a stud, we wait til next year for a rb.

I need some help, if this is the guy I saw play vs Apopka HS (Florida) last yr then he is much bigger than 210. from what I saw, he was around 225/230 and has very good game speed.
I Loved his game

I think RB has become a priority. I don't think Poole will be back, Toney Williams just blew out his knee, no one knows if Oku can run between the tackles in the SEC yet, and Brown is having that nagging hip problem. We MUST get a RB in this class...

I did. Kid was a beast.

I think it is pretty much known to the schools recruiting him that he will not qualify. I like that we are staying on him so he could be available for us later if we need or so that we can get ties into his school.

The freshman safety SP has is a monster already.
