I just realized we have only 10 passing TD's through 8 games. Our longest TD pass is 9 yards to Devrin Young. I am glad to see Dobbs get his chance. No excuses for Worley- he is NOT an SEC QB.

I'd recheck those stats if I were you

He may not be the best but why talk about him when he has worked his butt off for this team... Not to mention he has no experienced receivers

Definitely remember North catching one against GA that was at least 10 yds....I question the total number of TD's too

Just off the top of my head how long was the TD pass to North against UGA on the sideline?

Please make sure your facts are correct before using them to bash players. Thanks.

So much wrong in this thread to even begin to correct. But if it makes the OP feel like a big man bashing our QB, I guess that what he needs. Nice job buddy. Now go kick a kitten

19 yards. I still stand behind my 10 TD's. All I said was that he isn't a SEC QB. Truth hurts.

He may not be great or ideal, but he's helped lead us to our first victory over a ranked opponent in way too long, and he's stood in there for us and let our young freshmen qbs get some time for conditioning and development. I'm ready to see what Dobbs/Ferguson can do too but I've got nothing but respect and gratitude for the job that Worley has gone out there and done. He's VFL and :hi: to him.

I wasn't bashing anyone. All I said is that he is NOT an SEC QB.
How does he rank vs the SEC and Oregon- 4 TD's in 5 Games and 4 INT's.
No need to kick a kitten- explain to me how he is a SEC caliber QB? And please no "lame duck" excuses"- sticking with your animal references.

He's not a world beater, but he had developed into a pretty reliable QB. He even looked pretty accurate against Bama prior to his injury, I thought. He can't hit the long ball, but he was good on the short stuff. His receivers hurt him.

Early in the season, he did look like hot garbage, but he was maturing quickly, IMO. I'm as excited as anybody to see what Dobbs can do, but why keep hating on Worley?

Why bring it up, why even have this thread if only to point out you can't stand Worley? Is a bash thread

He's an SEC caliber QB because he plays in the SEC. UT wasn't the only SEC school that recruited him. What you fail to mention is that he is a pro-style qb playing in a spread offense that he just started learning the plays for. Give the guy a break.

I believe Worley has gotten us 4 wins, one of them a SEC win. And if not for a unfortunate fumble we BEAT UGA...Is JW a P. Manning replacement, no but he has taken us to date close to a bowl game so Back off.

Does it make u feel better to start a random thread to point out why Worley is not up to your standards. Pointless thread IMO

"Hey, I think I will start a thread knocking a guy with a jacked up thumb to make an invalid point which is useless since qb is injured, because I can."- OP

What is the point of this. It is petty and a cheap shot imo. Worley has been a great leader, his teammates seem to love him and rally around him. I am thankful for guys like that. Playing qb is much more than just raw talent.

Was he playing for an SEC team, when he beat SC... an SEC team... sounds like an SEC QB to me.
My only knock on Worlz is he cuaght the play not to loose bug from Dooley staff.
That is a hard thing to correct, and takes time to build trust with the WRs.
