As much as I hate to deprive the world of 18 Pirates / Cubs games annually, its for the best.

Or, if they really want to be cutting edge, just declare the winner of the league that wins the all star game champion.

I would say just stop playing after May...then, the Royals would always be in the race.

I like the idea of no divisions but it would never happen, baseball is too traditional for that type of forward thinking.

I also agree with WM, best of 7 thru and thru.
