"OL-DL Thomas Teal (6-2 325) of Marlboro County plans to visit USC over the summer. "I grew up a USC fan," said Teal. "I like their defense." Teal says he has not been offered from the Gamecocks yet. "I haven't really heard much from them but my coach (Dean Boyd) says Clemson and USC are probably going to offer," he said. His offers are from Illinois and NC State and he is hearing from Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Duke. Teal made it to NC State for their junior day and spring game. "I liked it up there," said Teal. "They had a lot of fans and I liked their weight room." He also plans on visiting Tennessee and Illinois this summer. As a junior, he had 84 tackles, six sacks, and two blocked punts. He does not have any favorites."
