"Recruiters from USC and Tennessee were by Beaufort High School Tuesday to check on LB Justin Parker (6-2 225). Clemson also has been thru the school and more are expected when spring practice begins later this month. Parker has added offers from Syracuse and Vanderbilt to his list according to his brother Jeff. He also has offers from USC, Clemson, Maryland, Wake Forest, Central Florida and NC State. He's also getting interest from Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU and North Carolina. Virginia Tech is expected to offer when Parker visits there. Parker did not take any visits this spring due to his track schedule, and he's not been to any combines either. But he does plan to attend several summer camps including USC, Virginia Tech and Florida. He also plans to visit Clemson at some point. According to Jeff Parker, Justin has a top three of USC, Clemson and Virginia Tech with USC out front. "Shane Beamer has been on him since his sophomore year," Jeff Parker said. "He likes Shane a lot. There won't be a quick decision. He wants to take his official visits."
