10 team conf. to play CCG - RUMOR

Did any one catch Mike and Mike this morning? Supposedly they made a reference about a rumor going around that the NCAA was thinking about allowing 10 team conferences to play CCG...

Because the rule is standing that they can't. Other conferences made moves to add teams due to this rule and changing it after the fact would have a backlash from the SEC and the ACC, and rightfully so imo. Do you think we would have added arky and south click if we could have had a conference championship with ten teams?

what conf are they even talking about. OU and TX aren't going to allow a conf champ game to happen

I heard this last night, but as someone mentioned already, the teams don't even like it and it's not that big of a revenue attraction anyway.

Also I think the BIG 10, was 11, now 12 would have something to say...the conference had been trying for years to get a conference championship game but the NCAA always said no.
